Sun Valley has long been known for being a little slice of doggy-heaven. Heck, the Valley doesn’t even have a leash law for pooches that can be controlled by voice command. To make the most out of the area, here are a few tips.

1. BRING WATER: Staying hydrated is important for both you and your pet.

2. CLEAN UP: Always clean up after your pooch. Pooper Scooper bags are suppliedfor free throughout the Wood River Trails system.

3. KEEP COOL: Dogs don’t sweat so be sure to give them plenty of downtime, water and shade during warm days.

4. STAY ON THE TRAILS: Dogs can do damage to plant life and can get in trouble with wildlife when they roam off the trails.
