With a welcome party at Whiskey’s, rehearsal dinner at The Valley Club, and a perfect June wedding day at Trail Creek Cabin, Caroline and Remy’s East Coast families and friends were able to experience Sun Valley in all its glory. When they weren’t celebrating the happy couple, out of town guests enjoyed exploring town, hiking, and beers at Grumpy’s.
The couple, along with their planner and florist—Amanda Seaward and Taylor Sturges—envisioned and executed a magical and joyful atmosphere that was both elegant and relaxed, with vibrant florals making the most of the golden sunshine lasting deep into the evening.
Caroline’s gown was a stunning Mira Zwillinger design, which she tracked down after seeing it on Instagram, even though the dress itself hadn’t yet been released. Her bridesmaids’ dresses in varying shades of springtime greens were a perfect complement to the surrounding foliage and their colorful bouquets.
Though they wanted to honor many of the classic wedding traditions, the couple’s highest priority was creating a weekend that felt like “them” in other words, warm, fun, high energy; and most importantly surrounded by the people they love the most.
The event was black tie and a seated dinner, but it was important to the couple that the party was fun and welcoming and not overly stiff or serious, so they knew that their choice of music was going to be a key component to the overall tone of the evening. And their band—The Dance Doctors—did not disappoint! The dance floor was packed all night and the energy coming from the stage absolutely made the reception. ï
