Savor the season and treat yourself guilt-free to this yummy, easy-to-make peanut butter hot chocolate recipe. Winter just isn’t the same without hot chocolate.

Healthy Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate
  • 1 cup non-fat milk
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 ½ tablespoon sugar or sugar substitute
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix milk, cocoa, sugar, and vanilla in a small pot or pan on the stove. Add peanut butter and stir well until chunks are gone.

Voilá! Ready in 5 minutes.

Pour your homemade concoction into a festive mug, toss in marshmallows or cinnamon if desired, and drink up!

Health Tip: In addition to making our favorite treats taste heavenly, cocoa contains antioxidants that help decrease blood pressure and improve cholesterol levels. So you can feel even better about yourself as you’re sipping by the fire.
