Eligibility
Giveaways are open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, unless otherwise stated. For any giveaway involving alcoholic beverages, alcohol service, or an alcohol-related experience, entrants and winners must be 21 years of age or older.
Employees, contractors, representatives, and immediate family or household members of Mandala Media LLC, dba as Sun Valley Magazine / TASTE Magazine / WEDDINGS Sun Valley, (“Sponsor”), participating prize providers, and their respective affiliates may be excluded from eligibility at Sponsor’s discretion.
How to Enter
Follow the entry instructions published with the applicable giveaway during the stated entry period. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win.
Limit one entry per person unless otherwise stated. Automated, fraudulent, incomplete, or otherwise improper entries may be disqualified.
Winner Selection
Unless otherwise stated, winner(s) will be selected at random from eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
Potential winners may be contacted using the information provided at entry and may be required to confirm eligibility and acceptance within the timeframe specified by Sponsor. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond, is ineligible, or declines the prize, Sponsor may select an alternate winner.
Prizes
Prize descriptions and approximate values will be provided with each giveaway. Prizes are nontransferable and have no cash value or cash alternative unless Sponsor determines otherwise.
Prize details, availability, dates, participating businesses, menus, accommodations, products, services, and other components are subject to change. Sponsor or the applicable prize provider may substitute a prize or component with one of comparable value when reasonably necessary.
Unless expressly included in the prize description, transportation, gratuities, taxes, incidental expenses, additional food or beverages, lodging, parking, and other expenses associated with accepting or using a prize are the winner’s responsibility.
Any applicable federal, state, or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Dining, Food & Beverage and Experience Prizes
Dining, culinary, beverage, hospitality, travel, event, recreational, and other experiential prizes are provided subject to the availability, policies, restrictions, and operating conditions of the applicable restaurant, hotel, venue, producer, business, or other prize provider.
Winners and their guests are responsible for communicating food allergies, dietary restrictions, medical considerations, accessibility needs, or other relevant requirements directly to the applicable provider before participating.
Sponsor does not prepare, manufacture, serve, supervise, or control food, beverages, transportation, accommodations, activities, venues, or services supplied by independent prize providers and makes no representation or warranty regarding them.
Where alcoholic beverages are served or included, alcohol may be provided only to persons legally permitted to receive or consume it. Winners and guests are solely responsible for their decisions regarding alcohol consumption and for arranging safe transportation.
Participation in any activity or experience is voluntary and subject to the participant’s own judgment regarding his or her ability to participate safely.
Release and Limitation of Liability
By entering and/or accepting a prize, each entrant and winner agrees, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its owners, officers, employees, representatives and affiliates, together with participating prize providers and promotional partners, from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses arising from or relating to participation in the giveaway or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or enjoyment of a prize, including participation in any associated dining, beverage, travel, hospitality, recreational or other experience.
Nothing in these rules is intended to waive any right or liability that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
Changes, Cancellation and Substitution
Sponsor reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to modify, suspend, cancel or terminate a giveaway if circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect its administration, fairness, security or ability to provide the advertised prize.
Restaurants, hotels, venues and other prize providers may change hours, menus, offerings, availability, dates or services without notice. Sponsor is not responsible for the closure, cancellation, postponement or other acts or omissions of an independent prize provider.
Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner’s first name, city/state, photograph or likeness in connection with announcing or promoting the giveaway without additional compensation.
General Conditions
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who violates these rules, interferes with the administration of a giveaway, provides false information, or otherwise acts in a fraudulent, abusive or disruptive manner.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, corrupted or technically unsuccessful entries or communications caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Giveaways are subject to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and are void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Privacy
Information collected in connection with a giveaway will be used to administer the promotion and otherwise handled in accordance with Sponsor’s applicable privacy practices. Entry into a giveaway does not constitute consent to receive marketing communications unless the entrant separately provides such consent.
