Combo Pass Packs More Nordic Trails

 What?

A new, combination Nordic Pass, offered this season by the Blaine County Recreation District and Sun Valley Resort.

What trails?

All Sun Valley Nordic Center trails, Quigley Nordic trails and all North Valley Trails—a list that includes Galena, Billy’s Bridge, Prairie Creek, North Fork, Lake Creek and the entire Harriman Trail.

How?

Through a special partnership between the Blaine County Recreation District and the Sun Valley Company.

Who?

Fun-loving Nordic skiers.

Cost?

$350 for the combination pass.
Individual passes are still available.

Available where?

Only at River Run Lodge and the Sun Valley Nordic Center.

When?

When the clouds turn pink and dump enough snow, grab your pass and go!

North Valley Trails

Cross-country ski and snowshoe trails over a 35-mile area between Hailey and Galena Lodge, north of Ketchum. Trailheads such as Lake Creek begin just three miles north of Ketchum, while the Harriman Trail and North Fork Loop at the edge of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area are just eight miles from town.

Wood River Trail

This system provides 18 miles of groomed trails along the bike path for cross-country skiing from north of Ketchum south to Bellevue. The trail is a multi-use path open to skiers, snowshoers, walkers and dogs.

Galena

More than 31 miles of trails in the vicinity of Galena Lodge north of Ketchum.

Sun Valley Nordic Center

Located in the backyard of Sun Valley Lodge, skiers can enjoy 25 miles of manicured and marked trails beginning at the center.

Quigley Nordic

Six miles of Piston Bully-groomed cross-country ski trails that serve as a training site for skiers from Hailey and Bellevue and a quick exercise course for those living and working in the south Valley. Access is from Fox Acres Road near the new Wood River High School.
