Slack is here, but true to form, our vibrant community stays bustling! Get out there and get involved. With so many options like a forum on making Ketchum more walkable, Hailey’s Business After hours, music, art and theater, its hard not be a proud citizen of the Wood River Valley.


The Community Café: Creating a Walkable Ketchum

Come to the Community Café this Thursday, an Open House event where conversation and input are maximized and presentations and lectures minimized. We need your ideas to create a more pedestrian and bicycle friendly downtown.

It’s good for shopping. It’s good for dining. It’s good for kids. It’s good for us! Come See the Assessment Mapping. Give us your ideas and share your knowledge. Topics will include sidewalks, streetlights, wayfinding, policy, health and safety, vibrancy and sustainability.

When: Tonight! Thursday, April 19th, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Music Series: Screening “20th Century Impressionism - Debussy”

From the Teaching Company film series, this film features Professor Robert Greenberg and is 45 minutes long. There will be a discussion to follow. Sponsored by the Sun Valley Artist Series.

Community School Middle School Theater: “How To Eat Like a Child”

Community School Middle School presents "How to Eat Like a Child, and other lessons in not being a grown-up."  Come check out young, local thespians in their spring show!

When: Friday, April 20th at 7:00 PM and Saturday, April 21st at 5:00 PM.
Where: Community School Theater, Sun Valley.

Hailey Business After Hours Hosted by the Mountain West Bank

Hailey Chamber of Commerce would like to invite businesses and the public to their Business After Hours hosted this month by Mountain West Bank in Hailey and catered by Hailey’s Zou 75. Please join us for great refreshments, fun prizes and stay for visiting with members and guests.  Don’t forget to bring your business card for the raffle.

Local bands record a live album at Bellevue’s Silver Dollar.

Come check out two of the Valley’s best local bands, Up A Creek and Old Death Whisper as they record a live album at Bellevue’s Silver Dollar Saloon. Everyone is invited to wear their favorite hats for the video to be released with an upcoming CD featuring these local favorites.
